Service & repair, done right the first time
From a no-start diagnosis to full seasonal maintenance. If it moves a boat, we work on it.
Repairs & Rebuilds
Top-end work, gaskets and seals, cooling, exhaust and drivetrain repair on inboard, outboard and jet setups.
Tune-Ups & Maintenance
Oil and filters, plugs, belts, gear lube, impellers and water pumps. Routine service that prevents the expensive calls.
Fuel & Carburetion
Carb rebuilds and tuning, injector service, fuel pumps, lines and tank issues — including old-fuel cleanups.
Electrical & Wiring
Batteries and charging, starters, gauges, switches, bilge pumps, stereo power and chasing down bad grounds.
Jet Drive & Outdrive
Pump and impeller service, wear rings, bearings, seals, alignment and lower-unit work on drives and jets.

About Me
One mechanic, and the boat in front of him
I’m the owner and the mechanic at Full Throttle Marine — an independent marine repair shop in Concord, California. When you call, you get me. When you drop your boat off, I’m the one who works on it and the one who tells you what I found.
I work on just about anything that moves on water. Modern wake and ski boats, fishing rigs, jet skis, and a lot of classic jet boats — big-block V8s, 427s, Holley carburetors, the stuff most shops don’t want to touch anymore. Some weeks it’s a routine tune-up. Some weeks it’s a seized ski running again in thirty minutes, or a customer’s inherited jet boat that we’re bringing back to life in phases.

The part I actually care about is the diagnosis. Anybody can throw parts at a boat until it runs. Finding out why the batteries are cooking at 15 volts, or why it dies the moment you put it in gear, is the job. I film a lot of it and put it online — including the times something blows apart on me — because I’d rather show you how the work really goes than sell you a polished version of it.
